SUPER HATCH CONCEPT CAR

"Borne from the premise of mating a supercar with a 3-door hatchback, the SHC has been carefully conceived; from specific mechanical detailing through to the aerodynamics and styling. Ideal weight distribution, achieved through material choice and application, plus dynamic looks provide the SHC with a clear focus on the near future of mid-sized hatchbacks." ABOUT ME

Welcome to my online portfolio. I am a concept designer and 3D modeller based in London, England. I focus primarily on 2D & 3D concept design, as well as GUI (Graphical User Interface) and AR (Augmented Reality) designs for the entertainment, automotive and robotic industries. I always endeavour to inject my work with a fresh creative edge, and pride myself on being able to deliver a full conceptual package - from initial 2D proposals through to final highly detailed, photo realistic 3D visuals. As well as free-hand sketching, the software packages I primarily work with are Maxon Cinema 4D for 3D work and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash for 2D and graphics.

Being an avid movie-goer, video gamer and car fanatic, I've always had an artistic interest in the methods behind their creation. Having trained as an automotive designer I learnt 3D modelling as a means to enhance the visualisation of my 2D concept artwork. My designs have been featured in a wide range of magazines and online articles, as well as winning awards, and my YouTube videos have been viewed nearly 2 million times to date. As well as having articles written about my work, I have also written tutorials for magazines such as '3D Artist', focussing on the design process and methods with which my work was created. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Top Gear: "Too good to be true..."Maxon: "Something new and exciting..."Auto Express: "A stunning spiritual successor..." ACHIEVEMENTS

‘GRAVITY’ FILM (2010-2011) - Working as concept designer and modeller for Alfonso Cuaron’s sci-fi movie, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. I was assigned with designing and 3D visualising hero props, interactive elements and environments/sets (both practical and CG).

C.R.A.B. ROBOT (2010) - Following the launch of my ‘Robot Rampage’ video showcasing the C.R.A.B. robot on a fictional shooting spree in Central London, the animation went viral and reached a surprising 100,000+ YouTube views within it’s first month. My robot design has featured globally online and is published in magazines such as ‘3D Artist’ and ‘3D World', as well as being the promotional poster image for Maxon's 'Cinema 4D' software.

LONDON NAVIGATOR (2008) - I was awarded as one of the top four winners by Transport For London to create the next London bus, following a highly publicised global competition. Mayor Boris Johnson opened the competition to all; my fellow winners including Aston Martin car company and Foster & Partners agency. My 'London Navigator' concept, along with the other winners, has collectively inspired the design of the new bus, due to hit London's streets in 2012.

COBRA VENOM (2008) - My modern interpretation of the classic AC Cobra muscle car proved to be a big critical success and has since been published worldwide both online and in print, including a special full-page article in BBC Top Gear magazine as well as in magazines such as Auto Express and numerous motoring websites.
